Long Overdue, Done Right
The original owners of a late 1980's home cultivated a large yard into the envy of neighbors, but desired a full remodel of the dated interior so they could fall in love with their home again. The most significant transformation resulted from the removal of a wall between the kitchen and the living and dining spaces. A new picture window and sliding glass door improved the connection between the interior and a well-loved sunroom and brought additional daylight into the heart of the home.
The new custom kitchen cabinets were designed to increase usable storage and create a coffee counter with floating shelves where an oddly angled original wall could not be modified in a cost effective way. The primary master bathroom was remodeled to include a new vanity and large format shower wall panels to reduce cleaning and maintenance. Other upgrades include new flooring and ceilings throughout, new lighting and plumbing fixtures, and a new mechanical system.
