Family Upgrade

When a young family knew it was time for a little more space, this conversion was the perfect solution. The existing attached garage was converted into a family room with space for an office, workout gear, and mudroom. The laundry room got a functional and beautiful upgrade and another full bath was added to the house with easy access from the backyard pool. The storage that was lost in the build out of the garage was replaced with the construction of a carport and enclosed storage space.

For this project, we worked hand-in-hand with the owner to design her dream space. We provided the bones and she dressed up everything to her exact taste. This resulted in unique built-ins for all her family’s needs. While the multi-functional space is an open concept, custom built-ins create an office area with desks and shelving and a “mudroom” drop zone to organize shoes, backpacks, and jackets.
